Wings of the Future 2020
Dear colleagues!
Day 2 of the 18th international forum Wings of the Future is traditionally focused on the issues and prospects of air travel market in Russia and the CIS — and in a broader sense, Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Eurasia, as these markets have strong ties, even if these links have been temporarily disrupted by restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The floor will be given to executives of regulator Rostourism and Russia’s leading airlines. There will also be a joint report from Natalia Nikitina and Justin Benson, aviation practice partners at law firm White & Case, and Lukasz Laski of Investec, who will speak on the trends and specifics of the demand recovery in the region, growth of domestic market and the potential opportunities the ongoing crisis may open for some market players.
Wings of the Future Award for the industry’s young leaders
On November 12, the Day Two of the forum will open with an award ceremony for the winners of the Wings of the Future competition held for the young leaders of air transport industry. Just as the entire forum, the award will be held online. The winners in 13 nominations are all under 35 — they are the ones who will shape the future of the air transport, which has always been linking people, countries and continents. The competition results have not yet been finalized — so if you conform to the terms, don’t say no to this chance to participate — and win.
The Award’s general partner is SITA, one of the world’s technology leaders in information and telecommunication systems for aviation.

No one has the answers, but eve discussing possible scenarios is promising to be captivating. It is clear already that when the traffic volumes recover, the structure of the market will be completely different. The discussion will be moderated by Sergey Koltovich, Member of Board of Directors, Magnitogorsk International Airport, Elista Airport, Forbes Contributor.
