In preparation for the international exhibition and conference MRO Russia & CIS 2021, the organizers, together with the / media group, are launching the MRO bulletin. Within the framework of this project, we will inform you about the news of the air transportation and MRO market, as well as the general development of air transport in the region. A special section of the newsletter will be devoted to interviews with the main market participants, exhibitors of the MRO Russia & CIS 2021 exhibition, and the products and services they offer. We call on all exhibitors and conference participants to take an active part in the preparation of the MRO newsletter.

Two more big airlines joined the digital MRO platform AVIATAR created by Lufthansa Technik
About 800 additional aircraft will enter the digital platform. United Airlines signed a contract in late 2020 for digital support through AVIATAR for its Boeing 777 and Airbus A320 fleet, with plans to work with Lufthansa Technik to develop new predictive maintenance solutions for its Boeing 737 fleet.
AVIATAR will also support Sichuan Airlines' Airbus A350, A330 and A320 fleets, according to the agreement signed in the end of January.
S7 Technics’ volume of maintenance work increased by 2.5% in 2020
During 2020, S7 Technics has restructured its operations, focusing on the most popular services among customers: base maintenance, engineering services and redelivery checks.
Like other MRO suppliers, S7 Technics had to adapt its activities to the changed demand in the market and redistribute the structure of the work performed. /
airBaltic to expand maintenance at Riga Airport
Latvian airBaltic is considering offering maintenance services to other airlines worldwide operating this type of aircraft. Currently airBaltic fleet consists of 25 Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
airBaltic was the first airline with the Base maintenance capability and the second maintenance organization in the world who is entitled to provide a full scope of Base maintenance on A220 fleet. /
MTU Maintenance’s new repair facility in Serbia
MTU Aero Engines is expanding its global network of locations with a new engine parts repair shop in Stara Pazova, Serbia: MTU Maintenance Serbia.

Registration for exhibitors is now open
The 16th conference and exhibition MRO Russia & CIS, which will take place on September 15–16, 2020 at Moscow World Trade Center, is the only event of its kind and scale in Russia and CIS, dedicated entirely to covering the burning issues of restructuring MRO services for the region’s air transport.
Turkish Technic Offers Connectivity Upgrade with its New Server and WAP Products
Turkish Technic traditionally participates in MRO Russia & CIS, and the 2021 exhibition will not be an exception, the company has already confirmed its participation as an exhibitor. At the end of last year, Turkish Technic completed the design, production and certification process for its new servers and wireless access points (WAP), which form the backbone of in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems.
UAS Holdings LLC completes acquisition of TAG Aero and Unique Airmotive Services, companies to merge
Participation in the exhibition was confirmed by TAG Aero, which will join the list of exhibitors for the second time, despite the difficult epidemiological situation in the world. Company representatives report that TAG Aero and Unique Airmotive Services have completed a dual acquisition and merge facilitated by Mill Hill Capital. UAS Holdings Company, LLC, has been formed as the parent company and migrates both facilities under one brand, TAG Aero. The combined companies will bring together a leading APU repair station with capabilities reaching 20,000 aircrafts worldwide.
