Amadeus in Russia

The Amadeus distribution network in Russia includes over 9,200 travel agency terminals located throughout the country’s huge territory, making Amadeus the largest GDS with over two-thirds of the Russian market.

Today more than 30 Russian airlines distribute their content in Amadeus. Moreover, Rossiya-Russian Airlines, the country’s #3 carrier, uses the Altea Customer Management Solution (CMS) as their IT platform, as well as the Amadeus E-commerce suite powering their website.

Aerosvit (the largest carrier in Ukraine) and Air Astana (Kazakhstan’s leading carrier) are two more Altea CMS and Amadeus E-commerce customers in the CIS region. In July 2008 Air Astana implemented the Amadeus Ticket Changer solution to automate ticket change & reissuing processes.
