Issues concerning flight safety have always been a priority for all members of the aviation community. But the growing intensity of flight safety concerns in Russia has caused not only members of the aviation community, but the society at large to search for new ways of increasing the level of air transport safety.

Expert exchange in international experience and best practices is vitally important for the development of complex measures and solutions of flight safety issues.

The organizer of the conference is the Air Transport Observer Magazine, Russia’s only airline business publication and partner to Aviation Week and Space Technology, with the support of the Air Transport Operators Association and Avicos-Afes insurance group. We invite state officials, representatives of Russian and foreign airlines, airports, technical services and training centers to participate in the “Air Transport Safety 2007” conference, providing the opportunity for a professional dialogue and taking one more step towards increasing the level of flight safety measures worldwide.

Objectives:

  • Draw the attention of the professional community, government agencies and aviation authorities, financial and business circles to aviation safety issues in Russia and the CIS
  • Encourage professional dialogue and exchange of opinions on the relations between airlines, aircraft manufacturers and service providers in context of the measures being taken to improve aviation safety

Who should attend?

Aviation safety has always been at the center of attention in Russia, both at the level of state air transport regulations and in the everyday life of airlines. The importance of this issue necessitates the exchange of best practices and expert views for the purpose of reaching a common position and developing a comprehensive approach to improving flight safety. Air Transport Safety is an annual professional event poised to bring the problems of aviation safety to the attention of the professional community, government agencies, aviation authorities, financial and business circles, Russian and foreign airlines, aircraft and equipment manufacturers, airports, aviation training centers, leasing and insurance companies, Russian and international media.
