Air Transport Safety

Issues concerning flight safety have always been a priority for all members of the aviation community. But the growing intensity of flight safety concerns in Russia has caused not only members of the aviation community, but the society at large to search for new ways of increasing the level of air transport safety.

Expert exchange in international experience and best practices is vitally important for the development of complex measures and solutions of flight safety issues.

The organizer of the conference is the Air Transport Observer Magazine, Russia’s only airline business publication and partner to Aviation Week and Space Technology, with the support of the Air Transport Operators Association. We invite state officials, representatives of Russian and foreign airlines, airports, technical services and training centers to participate in the 3rd professional conference Air Transport Safety 2009, providing the opportunity for a professional dialogue and taking one more step towards increasing the level of flight safety measures worldwide.

Objectives:

  • Draw the attention of the professional community, government agencies and aviation authorities, financial and business circles to aviation safety issues in Russia and the CIS
  • Encourage professional dialogue and exchange of opinions on the relations between airlines, aircraft manufacturers and service providers in context of the measures being taken to improve aviation safety
