Session 1. Air Transport Infrastructure Modernization: Overviews and Forecasts.

As the year 2010 saw an extensive growth of international and domestic air traffic in Russia the government and private airport management companies will obviously accelerate airport modernization programs and ground infrastructure financing. The new level of airport services in Russia & CIS will be based on advanced management techniques, development of competition in airport business, enhancement of IT infrastructure and radical upgrade of GSE fleets.

Session 3. Russian Airport Modernization: Getting Ready for International Public Events

The Russian airport industry modernization will be driven by the forthcoming large-scale international events to be held in Russia. These include APEC Summit 2012 in Vladivostok, the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
